Prof. Dr. H.H.F. (Herman) Wijffels (IJzendijke, 13 March 1942) is a Dutch economist. During his career he held various prominent positions, including Chairman of the Executive Board of Rabobank Nederland, Chairman of the Social and Economic Council (SER) and Dutch administrator at the World Bank in Washington. In addition, as an informateur, he laid the foundations for the Balkenende IV Cabinet.
He was also co-chairman of Worldconnectors, was chairman and co-founder of Sustainable Finance Lab and until 2016 professor of Sustainability and Social Change at the Utrecht Sustainability Institute (USI) of Utrecht University.
